Please be sure to pick a good vet (before picking up your puppy) & have a scheduled first visit within 3 weeks of pickup. This will help you to get your puppy established as a new patient & you can schedule their next vaccines. You can take the statement from our vet to your vet, so they will know where we ended & where they need to start. Your vet can confirm to you that the puppy is healthy. If the vet has any concerns, please let us know immediately with a written statement from your Vet. 

We are committed to sending you home with a happy & healthy puppy. All puppies will be fully checked by a licensed veterinarian, receive their first round of DHPP puppy series vaccine, be dewormed every 2 weeks, starting at 2 weeks of age, be microchipped (fi nano microchip, no monthly fees) before going to their new home, & AKC Registered shortly after going to their new home (pre-paid for you). We  cannot guarantee the color, size, or temperament of your dog when it reaches adulthood. A good indicator of your puppies future coloring is the color found on the tips of their ears, something that we learned from the breeder that we got our girl, Sadie, from. All of our puppies are socialized with children and other pets to ensure that they are well-adjusted and ready for their new homes. You will receive a written health guarantee at time of pickup, signed & dated by us (see examples below), as well as a statement from your puppy's first vet visit. 

-1 Year Heritable Disease Guarantee: -We will refund your full purchase price or offer you another puppy (if desired & if a puppy is available). Heritable diseases in dogs are genetic conditions passed from parents to offspring, with common examples including crippling hip and elbow dysplasia, severe (not seasonal) allergies, certain cancers like lymphoma and mast cell tumors, and heart conditions such as dilated cardiomyopathy. Other examples are degenerative myelopathy (DM), epilepsy, various eye conditions (like progressive retinal atrophy), brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome (BOAS), and Von Willebrand's disease. As the puppy’s mom & dad have both been health & DNA tested, we have no reason to believe that any of our puppies would ever have any of these problems, especially at a young age. 

-We do not offer any guarantees on the presence of parasites or viral or bacterial infections, such as Coccidia & Giardia, or any skin conditions, which are easily treated at your vet & are quite common in puppies as they are naturally at risk for them. To the best of our knowledge, the puppies do not have any of these issues when you take them home. These things can be picked up in transit or made worse by the stress of traveling to their new home. We also do not cover umbilical hernias as the puppy did not have one on the day that they went home with you. 

-We do not guarantee the final size, coat color, energy level, or temperament of the dog when it reaches adulthood. We can only offer estimates based on the parents’ sizes & colors.

-We make no guarantees due to accidental death, or sickness due to lack of care &/or lack of vaccinations after it leaves us.
